If you’re looking for scenery on the run, Vancouver is a runner’s panacea. Stanley Park just north of the city, contains a trail network that offers oceanview vistas from English Bay around the northern pennisula end to views of the Lions Gate bridge and the coastal mountains of West Vancouver. The City of Vancouver website is an excellent source of runner’s trailmaps.
